Anna Nazarova is a New York–based visual artist working across painting, photography, and video. Her figurative work inhabits quiet, intimate moments, rendering familiar scenes with a sense of mystery and ambiguity. Informed by photography and film, her work is characterized by cinematic composition, natural light, and rich, nuanced color.

Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, Nazarova studied Art History and French at San Francisco State University before moving to New York.
